Hello everyone,

A good teacher of any language need not be a native speaker but a proficient language (A) user who is aware of the norms between the various levels of language use (i.e.standard, elevated etc.) so as to guide the language learners though the adequate language use required under specific circumstances.

A good teacher in the wider sense is a good educator, a person who has come to terms with his own self and knows how to enter a classroom with a tabula rasa of preconceptions and personal concerns.

Each meeting should be a refreshing and productive meeting from which each one of us leaves feeing that we have added yet another meaningful stone to the pyramid of knowledge and experience.

Good teachers are remembered for having reached out to learners and made a difference.

Good teachers are remembered for being there to listen to unspoken words, to be conscious of students’ learning styles and of their own teaching style.
