2010 IATEFL-TESOL CHILE BICENTENNIAL INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE
Flashback to the Bicentennial Conference. The Conference Theme: Communication, Culture, & Community
IATEFL and TESOL Chile held a first-ever, joint conference to celebrate the Bicentennial of Chile. The conference was held at Universidad San Sebastián, Campus Bellavista, in Santiago.
Approximately 650 teachers of English and Students of English Pedagogy came from all over the country to attend. There were more than 100 presentations and 8 Keynote Speakers. The faces of the participants show the joy, the happiness, and the sense of community we felt during the days of July 23 and July 24, 2010.
** On a personal note, this was the best conference I have ever attended, before or since…
